Landmark 81 is located in the Vinhomes Central Park on the banks of the Saigon River.

In the next month, Coteccons will install the 60.8-meter spire on the crown base. Accordingly, if measured from foundation to the top of the spire, Landmark 81 will have the height of 461.2 meters and become one of top eight tallest skyscrapers in the world. The tower will be 350 meters high if measured from the floor 1 to floor 81.

According to Coteccons, it has successfully completed the superstructures of the tower 45 days ahead of schedule.

Coteccons participated in the construction of Landmark 81 in late 2015 when it had won the contract for the construction of three basements with a total area of 72,000 sqm. Then, in mid-2016, Coteccons overtook many foreign competitors to become the main contractor to build the entire tower, with technical support of experts from Obayashi Japan.

Landmark 81 has the floor area up to 141,000 sqm.

After being inaugurated, Vingroup's iconic building will be a tower consisting of offices for lease, trade center, restaurants, hotels, bars, serviced apartments and observation deck.

Landmark 81 also resides at the heart of Vinhomes Central Park in Binh Thanh district, Ho Chi Minh city. The project is invested by Tan Lien Phat Investment and Construction JSC - a member of Vingroup and one of the largest real estate complexes in Vietnam with a total of over 10,000 apartments.

Some pictures depict the construction progress of Landmark 81:

The surrounding apartment towers now become the "dwarfs" as compared with Landmark 81.
Landmark 81 is the first skyscraper in Vietnam constructed by a domestic contractor.
Landmark 81 is currently the tallest building in Vietnam, higher than the 350-meter Keangnam Landmark 72 tower in Hanoi.
The contractor is executing both the construction of structure and installation of glass, shortening the construction progress. According to the plan announced previously, the building will be completed and put into operation by the end of this year.
