ANTICIPATING GROWTH IN INDUSTRIAL SECTOR, CBRE TAMPA ADDS INDUSTRIAL SERVICES BROKERAGE TEAM
Tampa, FL – November 6, 2013 – CBRE Tampa is pleased to announce the addition of three new professionals to the firm’s Industrial Services team: Rian Smith, First Vice President; Kostas Stoilas, Senior Associate; and Kris Courier, Associate. Previously with Cushman and Wakefield in Tampa, these professionals collectively bring over three decades of industrial sales and leasing experience to CBRE.

Rian Smith specializes in landlord representation and has been recognized as one of the Top Three Brokers in the Tampa Bay region since 2005. He has over 15 years of industrial brokerage and development experience, including landlord representation, tenant representation, land transactions, and the redesign and repositioning of challenging properties. In his previous role he oversaw a portfolio of property in excess of 6.7 million square feet. Smith holds a B.A. in marketing from Dominican College and is a member of the Florida Gulfcoast Commercial Association of Realtors and is active with Meals on Wheels and Central Florida’s Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP).
Kostas Stoilas has eight years’ experience in real estate concentrating on servicing and developing businesses near the Tampa Airport and Seaport, and promoted Industrial Business Parks and vacant land along the I-4 corridor. Prior to that he worked in both commercial and residential real estate in Fort Myers and Cape Coral. Stoilas holds an M.B.A. from the University of Tampa, an M.S. in Management/Technology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and a B.S. in Management Information Systems from Florida State University. He is active on committees and boards including the Bay Area Advisors, Tampa Bay Downtown Transportation Committee, Big Brothers Big Sisters Leadership Council, and Professional Philanthropic Network.
Kris Courier brings two years’ experience in commercial real estate sales to CBRE Tampa. Previously, he held positions as a Key Account Manager for Kraft Foodservice and was responsible for marketing of properties, property management, market research and site selection for corporate clients while at Bridgeport South Realty Advisors. He holds a B.S. in Economics and History from University of South Florida.
