CBRE SELECTED TO MARKET

SWEETBAY DISTRIBUTION CENTER IN PLANT CITY

Tampa, FL – November 4, 2013  – CBRE has been selected by Delhaize America to market the 836,771-square-foot Sweetbay Distribution Center and Truck Maintenance building located at 1802 Jim Johnson Road in Plant City, Florida. CBRE Tampa First Vice President Brian Rettig and First Vice President Gary Bauler are marketing the property.  

“Modernized food-grade distribution centers of this scale don’t become available very often in the Central Florida marketplace,” said Rettig. “We anticipate strong interest in this opportunity from food-grade users who need a mixture of cold storage and dry space.” 
 
The food-grade facility is situated on approximately 140 acres which allows for future expansion.  Approximately 208,000 square feet of the complex contains state-of-the-art freezer and cooler space which is in high demand in the Central Florida marketplace.  The asset also has the capability for rail service.  Access to the site is provided via the I-4 interchange at Park Road in business-friendly Plant City.
