Overview
The Sacramento Urban Development Tour highlights existing and future development projects in the four districts of Sacramento's urban core: Bridge District, Railyards, Downtown, and Midtown. The Railyards, located near the Entertainment & Sports Center, will become Downtown Sacramento's transportation hub with retail, office, residential, and recreational spaces. The Bridge District in West Sacramento will accommodate residents and create jobs. Downtown Sacramento is experiencing revitalization, attracting businesses and residents with the Golden 1 Center and Downtown Commons. Midtown, known for its arts and entertainment, is a popular housing location with high-density residential projects and local retailers. As indicated in the figures below, there has been significant construction completions over the last 3 quarters and a healthy amount of projects currently under construction within the urban core.
