Starzynski  Sells 271-Unit Townhouse Apartment Portfolio in Cheektowaga, NY



Buffalo, NY – CB Richard Ellis|Buffalo’s Bob Starzynski has brokered the sale of a 271-unit townhouse apartment portfolio in the Cedar Grove Heights neighborhood of Cheektowaga, New York. Cedar Grove Heights is a World War II era neighborhood that serves mainly moderate income residents.

 

The seller, a Western New York-based family, had owned the portfolio for many years. The buyer, Windwood Place LLC, is a Rochester-based investor with multi-family residential and commercial property holdings in Upstate New York. The new owner is beginning a systematic program of refurbishing its units to a higher quality standard, and establishing new standards of livability for the neighborhood as a whole. The purchase price was $3.1 million.
