CBRE APPOINTS NEW GENERAL MANAGER FOR TAMPA’S UNIVERSITY MALL
Bruce Heisler assumes management of 1.4 million SF retail property
Tampa, FL – October 30, 2013 – CBRE is pleased to announce that Bruce Heisler has joined CBRE as the General Manager of University Mall in Tampa. In this role, Heisler will oversee the management of the approximately 1.4-million-square-foot retail property, as well as all tenant relations, client relations, budget development, financial reporting and lease administration for the property. He also directly supervises CBRE’s 9-person team of Asset Services and Technical Services professionals at the property.

Heisler has over 20 years of diverse commercial real estate experience in the Greater Tampa Bay area, which includes property management, construction management, leasing, contract negotiations and marketing of all commercial property types. Prior to joining CBRE, he served as the Managing Director of Sunstone Realty in Tampa. Heisler has also served in various management roles at The Duncan Companies, Colliers Arnold, and Eastgroup Properties.
University Mall is a local attraction and preferred shopping destination for northeast Tampa with over 140 retailers. Conveniently accessed from both I-275 and I-75, University Mall is strategically located near the University of South Florida (USF), Busch Gardens Theme Park and The Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI). An $11 million interior and exterior renovation completed in 2008 added amenities including soft play area, family restrooms, computer Wi-Fi lounge and soft seating areas.
