Professionals Selected to Lead Florida Efforts

Florida – October 16, 2013 – CBRE has announced that Lacey Willard, Suzanne Washburn and Deborah Fink have been appointed to serve as Field Delegates for the CBRE Women’s Network, a company-wide initiative to promote diversity in CBRE through mentoring, professional development, networking and personal enrichment programs.

As Field Delegates, these three commercial real estate professionals will bring the vision of the Women’s Network to Florida through quarterly on-site programs, and will partner with Florida’s leadership to support efforts to recruit and retain the best female talent in our market.

“CBRE Florida is laser-focused on promoting diversity in the workplace and supporting women in their professional development,” said Mary Jo Eaton, Executive Managing Director, Florida, “CBRE Florida is pleased to be a strong partner and advocate with the Women’s Network Group in its goal to empower women.”

The CBRE Women’s Network started as a grassroots effort by 35 female professionals from across the United States. Today, the group includes more than 1,500 members, with representation from all three of the company’s global regions and an eight-member Advisory Board. Composed primarily of women, the group’s members lead and participate in a variety of programs to empower women at CBRE including awards, mentorship, networking and philanthropy.

Based in Tampa, Willard, an Associate Director in Asset Services, leads the receivership and distressed asset portfolio management program, business development and client relations efforts for Florida.

Based in Orlando, Washburn, a Senior Vice President, focuses her brokerage business on site acquisition and excess space disposition for national and regional retailers.

Fink, a Vice President based in Fort Lauderdale, specializes in the sale and leasing of office, industrial and medical properties.
