pHOENIX mETRO #1 FOR nET mIGRATION
APRIL 3, 2020
The Phoenix metro added 98,994 people from mid-year 2018 to mid-year 2019, according to the most recent estimates released by the U.S. Census Bureau. Nearly 80% of this gain was attributed to net migration. Phoenix was the number one metro for net migration, adding 77,664 people. These gains pushed Phoenix into the top ten most populous metropolitan areas.
