“Authentic experiences are key to creating lasting memories,” Jerry Gibson, general manager of Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa, said in a statement.

Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa, a 1,307-room hotel located on Kalakaua Avenue, recently announced it has added two new tenants — Happy Haleiwa and Ohana Surf Project.

“Authentic experiences are key to creating lasting memories,” Jerry Gibson, general manager of Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa, said in a statement. “Our partnerships with Hawaii’s local businesses ensure we can provide kamaaina and visitors with meaningful opportunities when they stay at our resort.”

Ohana Surf Project — founded in 2015 — offers lessons in surfing, stand-up paddle boarding and bodyboarding. It also provides coaching and lessons in multiple languages, including sign-language, Spanish, Japanese and Korean, according to the announcement.

Happy Haleiwa, which has another location on the North Shore of Oahu, offers a wide selection of made-in-Hawaii items, such as clothing, pancake mix, coffee, honey and iced teas. The store also offers other brands, including Hydro Flask, Pura Vida Bracelets, Thread Wallets, Blue Gem Sunglasses, and more, as noted in the announcement.

Ohana Surf Project is open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Happy Haleiwa is open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
