STARBUCKS SAYS THAT WHEN IT COMES TO EXPANSION, DRIVE-THRU ONLY IS ON THE MENU
Executives at Seattle-based Starbucks are once again thinking big with plans for another round of aggressive construction of coffee shops, but this time they're going small in building size. The coffee chain's chief operating officer for North America, Roz Brewer, said its preference for future real estate development will be a concept of drive-thru only. The company plans to build new outlets and renovate about 150 stores.

LOVE'S DETAILS 2021 GROWTH PLANS
Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores has an ambitious growth plan for 2021 that includes the opening of up to 50 travel stops and the addition of more than 3,000 truck parking spots and 3,000 jobs.The plan expands on the travel stop operator's 2020 growth, which included 38 new locations and more than 3,000 truck parking spaces. "2020 was difficult, but our teams worked together to open new locations, add parking spaces and serve customers despite the pandemic."

Walgreens Boots Alliance Inc. has made history with the appointment of its new chief executive officer. The company named Roz Brewer, COO of Starbucks Corp., as CEO, effective March 15. When she takes the reins, Brewer will be the only Black female to head up a Fortune 500 company, and only the second Black woman CEO ever in the history of the Fortune 500.
