Ace Hardware is riding the home spending wave. Ace, the largest retailer-owned hardware cooperative in the world, has opened 110 new stores so far in 2021. It is planning to open at least an additional 60 locations by the end of the year. Ace captured the top spot in the "Highest in Customer Satisfaction Among Home Improvement Retail Stores" category.

CVS Health Corp. is betting Americans will get therapy at the same place they buy their snacks, soda and prescription drugs. Ikea is piloting a furniture buyback and resale program in the United States as it aims to make the service a permanent fixture at its stores nationwide. Walgreens is introducing Scarlet, a bank account and Mastercard debit card provided by the company’s partnership with InComm Payments and available exclusively at the retailer. Scarlet debit cards are issued by MetaBank and the service will be available at more than 9,000 Walgreens stores, as well as online and via the Walgreens mobile app.
