Abercrombie & Fitch announces Harbor East location, Baltimore Business Journal
A national apparel company is joining the lineup of retail offerings in Harbor East. Abercrombie & Fitch (NYSE: ANF), which sells casual wear, accessories and fragrance, plans to open at 810 Aliceanna St. this fall, the Harbor East Management Group announced Wednesday. The store comes as the upscale neighborhood continues to restock its retail options amid turnoverThe New Albany, Ohio-based retailer will occupy a 2,700-square-foot space and will feature "a bright space reminiscent of a chic hotel lobby and omnichannel shopping capabilities," a news release stated. The closest Abercrombie & Fitch store is in Washington, D.C.'s Georgetown neighborhood after a location in Annapolis closed during the pandemic, according to The Capital. Article Link

The Cross Keys comeback, The Baltimore Banner
For the first time in years, I walked inside the courtyard at the Village of Cross Keys. I planned to have brunch at Easy Like Sunday, a restaurant that opened inside the former Village Square Cafe space four months ago. Apparently, I wasn’t the only one with that bright idea: The courtyard was packed with a diverse cross section of Baltimore diners, and a hostess at the restaurant informed me there was an hourlong wait for a table. Crowds? At Cross Keys? It was a scene that visionary developer James Rouse likely had in mind when he first designed the North Baltimore property on a former golf course on Falls Road, but one that might have been hard to imagine just a few years ago.
