PROJECT NEWS CBRE CONSULTS ON 210 NORTH CARPENTER
210 North Carpenter will be a 240,000 SFG, 12-story mixed-use boutique office building located in the Fulton Market area of Chicago, Illinois. This high-rise office building is within walking distance of the Morgan and Lake ‘L’ train stations and will contain about 12,000 SF of ground floor retail space. The project is seeking LEED-CS Silver Rating upon completion.
210 North Carpenter’s extensive amenities include rooftop lap pool, lounge with bar, gaming room, outdoor terraces, bike storage, conference facilities, on-site parking, and fitness center with locker rooms.
The project is being developed by Sterling Bay Capital Partners, with Solomon Cordwell Buenz as the Architect of Record and Leopardo Companies, Inc. as the construction manager. Construction began July 2017 and is expected to be completed November 2018.
CBRE was retained to provide construction risk management services for the construction, including cost control, review of contract drawings and specifications, as well as review of construction documents, schedules, permits, and approvals. While under construction, CBRE is providing payment requisition review and approval services, schedule conformance review, and confirming general compliance of construction with the project documents.
